Hire Daniel to Speak

Daniel is really just an ordinary guy who was given an extraordinary opportunity to do something that had never been done before. After he accepted the challenge, then came the planning and training for the expedition. It turned out that the mental training was just as important or more important than the physical training. The many challenges Daniel faced relate well to the challenges we face every day. Daniel loves to share his story of continuing on even when failure seems certain.

Contact Daniel at dpburton@gmail.com for information on having him speak to your group.

What People are Saying

"Your presentation last week at the inaugural Utah Outdoor Recreation Summit was great. Many of the surveys commented on your presentation. Thank you. Utah is lucky to have you. I would be happy to recommend you anytime."
-- Brad Petersen, Director Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation

"It isn't often that I'm held spellbound by such a gifted speaker, but Dan Burton holds that honor. Dan's epic journey to the South Pole.. being the first man ever to bike the 51 day, 700 mile, sea level to 9500 ft in -40° temps against 20 mph katabatic winds, avoiding certain death by crevasse or being lost among the sastrugi, makes Dan Burton a man uniquely qualified to speak to the art of enduring to the end and never giving up.
"Inviting Dan as your keynote speaker will set the stage for any organization to assimilate a can win against all odds cultural belief. Dan celebrated his 50th birthday while on the trek, completing a feat that men half his age couldn't do. Dan explains the great power of setting your mind to accomplishing the extraordinary. You'll just have to listen to him speak to learn how. You won't be disappointed. Neither will your organization and especially, neither will your bottom line!
--Michael Karr Principal, Seen by Scene Communications
