Yukimarimo
Snowballs
The high temperatures at my house have been 105º F the last couple of days. Meanwhile in Antarctica the temperature is -82º F, and a little over a month ago they were -104º F. A combination of a little humidity, and dropping temperatures creates hoar frost. Add a light wind and the electrostatic attraction of ice crystals forms little snowballs that roll around the Antarctic Plateau. I found a nice little video of the Yukimarimo blowing about like tumble weeds.
And for good measure here is a Utah tumbleweed.
